    About The Farm:  
    This washing station has a very special place in our heart at Project Origin, as it was built in 2017 as a joint project with our great local friends Primrose and was the site of our very first Ethiopian Carbonic Maceration coffees were produced. We learnt a huge amount from the experience of trying and refining the Carbonic Maceration process at this station.

    Project Origin is also working on another significant project with Primrose by funding the construction of a bridge over the beautiful river that runs nearby. We hope that this bridge will bring some much needed improvement to infrastructure in the local area, allowing the community to walk over the river rather than wading through it to reach the nearby town and school (and washing station!).

    And to emphasise just how remarkable this washing station is, it only took one year of commercial operation before producing the 2018 World Barista Championship winning coffee!

     
    This coffee works excellent both brewed as espresso or filter.
    It is best rested for 10-14 days after the roast date, before use.
